Founded in 2011, TETRA is a design and professional chamber operates beyond the field of architecture, interiors, furniture and urbanism with Glocal craftsmanship dedicated to create IMPACT. TETRA is led by veteran architects Andrew Kinoshita, Gilbert Yeung, Colin Fournier, and Allen Poon to conduct projects on the city with intense dedication on innovation, control and refined details as a mean to manifest culture. With a lean structure, the Partners strive to conduct every projects at arms-length.

Allen has over a decade of professional experience serving in leading architectural firms in Hong Kong on a range of institutional and commercial projects. Allen had been for a considerable number of years the key associate to Nelson Chen Architects where he contributed significantly on a portfolio of projects. Currently also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of School of Architecture of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Allen is actively involved in education and cultural activities.

Andrew graduated from Havard GSD gained his experiences under the mentorship from his father James Kinoshita at the later Tao & Kinoshita in Hong Kong. Andrew focuses on Lifestyle, practiced for 20 years as Interior Designer has attracted a variety of residential interior projects in Hong Kong and in PRC China. Andrew devotes delicate care to each Client and their identity meanwhile designing for their special needs. He is particularly experienced in unlocking the hidden potentials to heighten ones luxurious experience, from spatial arrangement to exploration on materials.

Gilbert Yeung is an all-rounded architect with international experiences from cities of diverse cultural fabric including New York, Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong; Graduated from both University of Michigan and Graduate School of Design with over 20 years of international design experience in the field of architecture, Gilbert had subtly created a large portfolio of modern architecture. His wide spectrum of design experience brings insight to the firm, adding cross-cultural experience dealing with local institutions and government bodies in the PRC.
TETRA X was setup as a parallel studio focuses on urban design and city. Led by Prof. Colin Fournier, a co-architect of Kunsthaus Graz in Austria, who teaches at UCL Barlett and as a visiting professor at CUHK, the studio concentrates in avant-garde, radical architectural design and research on urban planning theories.

Colin Fournier, born in 1944, was educated at the Architectural Association in London. He is Emeritus Professor of Architecture and Urbanism and Principal Research Fellow at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London (UCL), where he was, for the last 15 years, Director of the MArch in Urban Design, and is currently Visiting Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Prof. Fournier was an associate member of the famous experimental design group Archigram. He was Bernard Tschumi’s partner for the design of the Parc de la Villette in Paris and co-author, with Sir Peter Cook, of the Graz Kunsthaus in Austria, a radical museum of modern art in the city of Graz, Austria, and has received a considerable amount of international recognition.
